The introduction of the CIM program at our 60 bed facility has allowed me as a manager to maintain an accurate and detailed overview of an enormous range of both resident, staff information and manage quality activities as they occur. Prior to its introduction I used a number of different programs, including paper lists and excel reports.  Frequently I found my data was maintained by a variety of off-site personnel, which made the data difficult to maintain, and it was frequently inaccurate or out of date. 

Now using the CIM I go to one place where I can see vital data that I need. The CIM helps me provide evidence to Age Care Assessors for the Aged Care quality standards.  I find that I am able to easily monitor issues and address them in an appropriate and timely manner. The system allows me to delegate actions to staff and easily monitor their progress. 

I could not be happier or more confident that when an accreditor drops in to visit the facility, that I have  the evidence ready all in in one place, easy to access and a dream to navigate.

I have been utilizing CIM for the past 12 months. Over this time CIM has become an essential day to day management tool for our 30 bed ambulant dementia unit. 

We found the programme particularly helpful during the accreditation process. Most requested information is able to be quickly and reliably accessed which ensures the day progresses smoothly and positively without the need for staff to be unproductively searching for hard copy files.

Our continuous improvement programme has similarly benefited from the ability to instantly access relevant information and to add further actions as required.

The programme also has a useful ACFI check list which greatly simplifies the reviewing process and significantly reduces the potential for an expensive mistake.

Recording of resident's weights has been made easier and any subsequent weight loss information is now literally at the staff member's fingertips.

As a manager I have found the programme has enabled me to more effectively maintain a record of staff education. A click of a button now instantly confirms education staff have attended.

The CIM has also provided ongoing benefits with the handover sheet which is very easily updated.

The process for the recording of "comments and complaints" has also been enhanced following the implementation of the programme as staff can now easily view the information on the screen and respond accordingly in an appropriate and timely manner.

My experience with this programme over the past year has been entirely positive. It has enabled us to achieve a higher level of administrative efficiency and this has resulted in tangible benefits for both staff and residents.
